Day Beach

Only 1 km away from our B&B are two day beaches.

Day beach De Maasterp in Ohé en Laak, the day beach of 15 hectares is suitable for the whole family, you can swim, surf and canoe.

Dagstrand de Maasterp is part of the Dilkensplas and borders the Dilkensplas nature reserve. Sanitary facilities are on top of the dike. There you will also find Brasserie de Maasterp. Here you can enjoy a cup of coffee, a tasty lunch and an extensive dinner. From the terrace of the brasserie you have a beautiful view over the lake and the marina.

Day beach de Steenberg in Kinrooi: Enjoy a day at the water in Belgium, accessible by bicycle-pedestrian ferry from Ohé en Laak.

The day beach ‘De Steenberg’ is located in Geistingen (Kinrooi). With a view of the De Spaanjerd marina, you can enjoy a fine white sandy beach freely and for free. Take a refreshing dip and a little later sip a cocktail on a sun-drenched terrace. As soon as the sun comes out, a lifeguard is called in to supervise. This way you can enjoy a wonderful day at the water without any worries.
