Central Limburg offers a wide range of ready-made hiking routes. These routes lead you through typical Limburg villages, along the Maas and Maasplassen or through nature reserves and National Parks. There are also various themed tourism routes.
In addition, this part of Limburg is rich in cultural heritage. The diversity of the lanscape really offers something for everyone. Via the walking junctions you will pass many interesting, cultural-historical objects, such as monumental farms, well-kept castles, beautiful churches, special mills and chapels that resemble small churches.
The Stevensweert and Oude Maas walking route runs through a landscape that is relatively rare (the landscape of the Maasdal). The original landscape is still visible between Ohé and Laak and Stevensweert.
